Anyone that knows me well, knows that I am a BIG fan of FEMtech, especially when it is being build by females, because females have ACTUAL experience of female health....

Makes sense, right?

Great founders actually know first hand the pain point that they are trying to solve! 🔥

Meet Ida Tin, the woman who coined the term “FemTech” in 2016, which describes all tech and innovation that aims to tackle health issues that only, or disproportionately, impact women

In 2012 Ida co-founded Clue, a menstrual health app that now has 11 million monthly active users, worth more than $1 trillion.

She had personal experience of this pain-point so knew exactly how to provide an effective solution that had extreme scalability.

During this time she realised there wasn’t much of a community around women’s health services and products, despite more and more coming onto the market, and in 2016 FEMtech was born.
